Spec 및 활용분야
원리 및 특징
    각분해능 X-선 광전자 분광기는 시료의 표면으로부터 100 Å(10층 이내의 단원자 층)의 깊이에 관한 정보를 얻을 수 있는 표면민감성 분석장비이다. 일정한 에너지를 가지는 X선(광자)을 시료에 쬐면 시료로부터 광전자(photoelectron)들이 방출되는데 이 광전자들의 운동 에너지를 측정하면 광전자를 시료로부터 방출하기 위해 필요한 에너지인 binding energy를 알 수 있다. 광전자를 방출하는 원자의 고유한 성질인 이 binding energy의 측정으로부터 원소의 정성 및 정량분석, 그리고 화학결합 상태 등을 분석하는 기법이다. 현재까지 개발된 XPS 중 분해능, 감도가 가장 우수하며, 하전보정이 정확하여 반도체 소재, 박막, 금속, 화합물, 유리, 촉매, 고분자 및 최근 활발히 연구되고 있는 나노 소재에 이르는 다양한 시료의 표면에 대한 정성, 정량 및 화학적 결합 상태 분석 등에 이용되며, 그 외에도 깊이 분석 및 표면 이미지 등에 관한 정보를 얻을 수 있어 표면과학 연구에 있어서 대단히 유용하게 사용되고 있다.

    ○ Energy Source : monochromated Al-Kα (1486.6 eV)

    ○ X-ray monochromator with user selectable spot size from 15μm to 400 μm
    ○ Max. Sensitivity at 1eV FWHM on Ag3d5/2, at 400 μm : 400,000 cps
    ○ Depth profiling
